ACHIEVEMENTS
In the coming months and years the main achievements reached within the EDECAD project will appear on this page.

  1. Design tool developed for CFD of Spray dryers.
  2. Submodels developed decribing a.o. stickiness, and aggregation kinetics.
  3. Prediction of agglomerate size distribution.
  4. Validated for optimisation of agglomeration during spray drying (with/without fines return).
  5. Tool applicable after calibration for optimisation of drying facilities (assessing issues such as capacity, energy, fouling, agglomerate distribution).
